Superfrog, LA Tri, JCC mini and maxi tri, Tough Mudder

Congratulations to Jenifer Garner and Jim Rassi who raced the Superfrog ½ IM this weekend. Jennifer took 4th in her AG (pending official results) with a time of 5:58. Jim was the first 70 year old in the event’s history to finish and took 1st in his AG!

A little further north, the LA Triathlon was held over the Olympic Distance. Daniel Efune finished in 2:43, which was a very good PR for him over that distance.

Over in Wisconsin, David Demask finished a ½ marathon in a PR time of 1:37 just three weeks after finishing IM Wisconsin. The 30 days after an IM has most athletes in the shape of their lives. It is a great time to try and set some PRs over shorter distances.

In California, Jennifer Seidelman finished her very first event which was a Tough Mudder 13.1 miles!

Closer to home, we had the JCC Maxi and Mini sprints. In the Maxi, Ray Zanini took 2nd in his AG with a time of 2:18. In the Mini. Tom Thompson took 2nd in the Clydesdale division at 57:43 while Laura Miles won the female race overall with a time of 48:59.

After breaking his collarbone at IM Canada in late Aug, Nir Joels completed the 15.2 mile distance at the Javelina 100 in McDowell Mountain Park.

Nice job everyone!
