Dana Kennedy, Lindsey Buckman, Kyrsten Sinema – Tahoe Century
Great race weekend! Congratulations to Jenifer Garner who raced the iconic Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon in San Francisco. Jenifer finished in 3:39 over the challenging course. Jenifer will be racing IMCDA in a few weeks!
Also in California, Kyrsten Sinema, Dana Kennedy and Lindsey Buckman took on the hills at the Tahoe Century bike race in Lake Tahoe, CA. Kyrsten and Dana raced the 100 miler while Lindsey completed the 72 miler. All three will be racing Ironmans later this fall.
Lastly, Adela Riehle raced the Deadwood Mickelson Trail Marathon in South Dakota this weekend. Adela finished this rugged trail marathon in 5:32 and took 12th in her AG. She did this just a couple of weeks after finishing IM Texas! We often say that if you ever want to try an “off-the-wall” endurance event, the first month after finishing an IM is a great time, as you’re in fantastic aerobic shape and might as well take advantage of it!
