What a weekend of racing and IMAZ isn’t even here yet! Congratulations to Kara Gibson who raced at Ironman Florida this weekend and finished in 12:59. Way to go, Kara!
Keeping with the East Coast theme, congratulations to Jeanine Cordova and Frank Smith who ran marathons this weekend. Jeanine ran the NYC Marathon and smoked it in 3:25! Frank continued his impressive streak and ran the Indianapolis Marathon, finishing in 4:28. Frank has now completed 46 marathons or ultras in 25 states.
Closer to home, Peter Ney took the overall non-collegiate division at the Patagonia Olympic Tri in southern AZ. Peter finished the very hilly and tough course in 2:17. Ric Emery raced the 12 hours of Fury MTB race in the McDowells and finished 10 laps in 12 hours and took 4th in his AG.
The Phoenix 10K was run this weekend as was the Women’s ½ marathon. Results are still coming in.

Bella Panchmatia – 50 min 1st in AG! That is impressive in an event as big as the PHX 10K.

Susy Signa – 1:56 – Susy PR’d this race which bodes well for her at IMAZ!
