Congratulations to Adrienne Leblanc who finished first in her age group at the USAT Age Group National Championships today in the Olympic Distance in Burlington, VT. Adrienne is preparing for the World Championships to be held in New Zealand in October and this event was an important checkpoint along the way.
She had a fantastic race today against stiff competition, finishing first out of 118 women in the 40-44 age group with a stellar time of 2:11. She swam in 22:47, biked 22.7mph, and to top it off, ran a 40:09 10K (6:28/mile). Her 2:11 was fast enough for 7th overall female. That is an impressive result for the Olympic Distance National Championships. Way to go Adrienne!
